Portugal Golden Visa Fund Investment
Project Introduction
Portugal fund immigration program, that is, the investment of 500,000 euros in funds to obtain the golden residence status. This status allows the holder to reside, live, work, do business and receive education in Portugal, while enjoying the policy benefits of one person applying, three generations. Holders of the Golden Residency Card can also enjoy free access to local public education and medical services in Portugal, and the right to pass through the 29 Schengen countries. The Golden Residency Card is valid for 2 years and renewal requirements include a total of 14 days of residency within each 2-year period, a clean criminal record and the assurance of continued validity of the fund. Those who have held the Golden Residence Card for 5 years and have attained A2 level of Portuguese are eligible to apply for permanent residence status in Portugal or opt for naturalization.
Application Requirements
- To apply for the Golden Residence Card
- Be at least 18 years old
- No criminal record
- Invest 500,000 euros in funds
- Renewal of the Golden Residence Card.
- Maintain the required investment

- Transfer to permanent residence/naturalization.
- Hold the Golden Residency Card for 5 years and fulfill the requirement of 14 days of immigration supervision every 2 years during the period of holding the Golden Residency Card.

Application Process
- Step 1: Subscription of funds
- Signing of subscription agreement
- Payment of attorney’s fee and issue fee
- Step 2: Applicant to open an account
- Fill in the account opening form (issued by the depository bank)
- Prepare the account opening documents
- Step 3: Payment to the Portuguese personal account
- It is recommended to transfer a sum of money to the Portuguese account.
- Step 4: Portuguese personal account to fund account
- 500,000 euros to the account after the arrival of the investment in the nearest window period to complete
- Step 5: Preparation of documents to submit the online application
- Funds provide: proof of investment payment, proof of fund investment amount, proof of investment territory and shortest authority Applicant’s personal documents
- Step 6: Preparation of visa and fingerprinting for entry into the country
